27 January 2008Matt Mullins & Sideswipe Walk for Autism

Autism Speaks
On April 26, Sideswipe will perform at the annual Walk Now for Autism event at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This has become a yearly event for Matt and Sideswipe as they have been participating in this fundraiser for the last three years. Sideswipe has performed for several similar Walks in Dallas and Chicago.

The Walk Now for Autism is the nation’s largest grassroots autism walk program and the signature fundraising and awareness event for Autism Speaks. This successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.

This charity event is particularly close to Sideswipe’s heart, as they see the effects of autism on friends and students. Fans of Matt and Sideswipe can help the organization by attending and/or participating in this event. For more information, log on to www.autismspeaks.com.
